Inmate Visitation
In-Person Visitation
Lee County Detention Center in-person visitation is provded through a glass partition with a phone. Inmate visitation is no contact.
Inmates are allowed one 15-minute visit by appointment only during visitation time. Visitors MUST be on the visitation list in order to visit. To schedule a visit with an inmate call (662) 432-2600 Monday - Friday, between 8:00AM and 5:00PM. *Appointments must be made 24 hours in advance to visitation.
Visitation Schedule
Visitation hours are 1:00PM - 4:00PM and 7:00PM - 8:00PM and scheduled as follows:
- Monday: Pods A & B
- Tuesday: Pods C & D
- Wednesday: Pods E & F, and Male Holding
- Thursday: Pod G & Female Holding
- Saturday: Trustees only 8am – 12noon
- Sunday: Lee County Work Center (call 662-680-6064 for an appointment)
An inmate under Disciplinary Action for visitation rule violation shall not be allowed to receive any visits until visitation rights are restored.
Visitor Information
**VISITORS MUST SIGN IN FIFTEEN (15) MINUTES BEFORE THEIR SCHEDULED VISITATION TIME WITH THE INFORMATION OFFICER. If the visitor does not sign in with proper ID at least fifteen minutes before their scheduled time, they will NOT be allowed to visit. (See below for approved proper IDs)
Visitors MUST be on the visitation list in order to visit.
NO tobacco products are allowed in this facility. No cell phones, recordings, or image devices allowed.
Inmates are allowed one (1) visit per week with two visitors.
Once a visitor leaves the visiting area, he/she will not be allowed to return to the visiting area.
Visitors are subject to search before visiting the inmate. The visitor may refuse to be searched, but he/she shall then be denied access to the jail.
Any person under the influence of alcohol or any controlled substance shall not be allowed to visit and shall be subject to arrest.
NO CHILD UNDER 8 YEARS OF AGE WILL BE ALLOWED TO VISIT. Any child under the age of 8 must be supervised by an adult at all times and are not allowed to be left in the lobby unattended. We ask that visitors control their children and the noise level in the lobby or they will be asked to leave.
Visitor Dress Code: Visitors not abiding by the dress code will not be allowed to visit. NO: shorts above the knee, mini-skirts/skorts, low cut tops, spaghetti straps, see-through clothing, midriff tops, and bare feet. We ask that you please dress modestly.
Visitor ID: ALL visitors are required to present a VALID state-issued photo ID. (examples: Drivers License, state-issued ID, passport, valid immigration card, or a current military ID card.) A child between 8 years of age – 16 years of age need to present a birth certificate.
Video Visitation
Inmates have access to video visitation 7 days a week between the hours of 8:00 AM and 10:30 PM.

Inmate Commissary & Web Deposits
Inmate Commissary is handled by Tiger Correctional Services
Commissary orders must be completed by Wednesday evening before 4:00PM.
Money orders are not accepted. All money sent to an inmate can be safely and securely added through web deposits. Use your credit card or debit card from anywhere. If you would like to use cash or debit/credit card, you can use the Tiger kiosk in the lobby or online.
Money left in the commissary account when an inmate is released may be obtained only by the inmate, upon release. If the release is over the weekend, monies may be obtained from Tuesday – Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.
Inmate Mail Policy
All outgoing and incoming mail is subject to search by staff except legal mail. Legal mail will be opened in the presence of the receiving inmate.
All mail must have proper postage on it. Incoming mail must have this exact address:
