The Lee County Sheriff’s Department is a great place to start or continue your Law Enforcement career.

Please download the Employment Application (You will need Adobe Reader installed).

If you cannot print this, you can pick one up in person from the Sheriff’s Department Administrator.

All applications MUST BE notarized.

You may bring your completed application and supporting documents to the Sheriff's Department or email it to apply@leecosheriff.com.

You must furnish ALL requested information. The information you provide will be used to determine your qualifications for employment. If you fail to answer ALL questions on your application fully and accurately, you may delay considerarion of your application and may lose employment opportunities.

1. Complete the "Application for Employment" using a typewriter or black ballpoint pen.

2. Check your application to be sure the following attachments are enclosed before returning:

1. A recent, full-face photograph
2. A copy of your birth certificate
3. An official transcript of your high school and college (if applicable) record showing the date of graduation or a GED certificate
4. A certified copy of your DD-214 (Military Discharge) if you have been in the military

Applications that are illegible or incomplete WILL NOT be considered.
