On Wednesday, February 19, 2020, a post was made on social media that concerned authorities of a possible threat to schools in our area. The investigation revealed the person responsible for this post was located in Lee County.

We are receiving calls from residents stating they got a call from someone who claims to work for the Lee Co Sheriff’s Department.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Department received several reports of vehicle burglaries in the county over the past few weeks.
During the early morning hours of April 6, 2019, the gymnasium at Mooreville High School was burglarized. Several items were taken from inside the building as well as from inside a Lee County School District-owned vehicle parked on the property.
