Narcotics Arrest

On September 28, 2021, the Lee County Sheriff Dept. conducted a traffic stop on CR 1562 and Cove Lane in the Auburn Community.  Prior to the stop, a Deputy noticed a small object being thrown out of the window and landing in the roadway.  After getting the vehicle stopped and the occupants of the vehicle identified, the driver was identified as Jason Wayne Carter.  The Deputy reviewed his camera and went back to the area where the object was thrown out. The Deputy recovered a Felony amount of Methamphetamine.  Jason Wayne Carter was arrested for Felony Possession of Methamphetamine.
