NOW HIRING – Dispatch position ….
Applicant must be willing to work shift work and must be able to multi-task efficiently. Starting pay is $10.50 for new dispatchers and 11.00 if someone already is currently a state certified dispatcher. We do provide State Certification training once 90 day probation period is up. Once certification is achieved (we provide the training) pay raises to $11.00.

Applicant must be 21 yrs of age, have a high school diploma or GED, be able to pass a background check, and be able to pass a drug test. Applicant must not have a criminal record. Applicant must possess an ability to work positively with the public and peers. Position includes salary, health, vision, and dental insurance. Also, PERS retirement.

Applications can be picked up at our office M-F 8am – 5pm or downloaded from our website at www.leecosheriff.com. Deliver the completed application to the Lee County Sheriffs Department at 510 N Commerce Street in Tupelo.
