Today Sheriff Johnson sat in the dunking booth for Tupelo Christian Preparatory School to help raise funds. This event was held in conjunction with the Up, Up, and Away Hot Air Balloon Festival/Azaela Festival at Veteran”s Park. Today deputies fingerprinted youngsters as part of Belk”s Kid”s Day. Free ink ID cards were made, along with the store”s other events such as facepainting, fashion show, balloons, snacks and other fun things for kids! There were even visits with the Easter Bunny and a teddy bear!
