Posted on: August 12th, 2013

On 8/12/13, a call was made to the Lee Co. Sheriff’s Dept by an individual whom stated that she arrived home and her residence smelled like gasoline. While trying to find where the smell was coming from the resident discovered burn patterns on the outside of her residence. Through an investigation by the Lee County Sheriff’s Department and Investigators from the State Fire Marshal’s office, it was determined that the burn patterns on the outside of the residence were a result of someone trying to intentionally set the structure on fire. The investigation led to the arrest of Joseph Tubb of Mooreville and Adam J Elliot of Nettleton.
