For the past few months, Lee County and several municipalities have been victims of 4wheeler theft, trailer theft, and home burglaries. After weeks of investigation and a recent attempt to gain entry into an occupied home, the Lee County Sheriff’s Department was able to make an arrest of several persons that are responsible for a large number of these crimes. Many items taken in these thefts were sold and traded for drugs, as well as, pawned for cash to purchase drugs.
Several search warrants were executed over the past few days and a large quantity of stolen items have been recovered. These items range from 4-wheelers, trailers, lawn equipment, electronic merchandise and assorted household items.
The three suspects arrested are pictured below:
- Stephanie Dykes, 112A CR 1261, Nettleton (Currently on probabtion with MDOC), 32 years old
- Isaiah Edger, 723 Rd 506, Shannon, 29 years old
- Perry Edwards, 112A CR 1261, Nettleton, 53 years old
